Zaio: man found dead in his home, investigation opened

The national security services have opened an investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor after the body of a man in his sixties was found at his home in the commune of Zaio, in Nador province, under circumstances that remain unclear.
According to local sources, the deceased lived alone before being found dead, prompting the authorities to be alerted and to attend the scene.
Security officers carried out initial examinations and gathered information about the incident as part of the judicial inquiry aimed at establishing the circumstances.
The body was transferred to the mortuary of the Al Hassani provincial hospital in Nador to complete the usual legal and medical procedures.
