The legislative elections of 23 September 2026 gave Nador province a strong parliamentary presence, with eight elected officials from the region taking seats in the House of Representatives.
Four seats come from the local constituency and four from the Oriental regional list.
In the local constituency, Mohamed El Moumni (PAM), Abdelkader Akoudad (UC), Abdelhalim Foutat (RNI) and Mohamed Sadiki (PJD) were elected.
The regional list also brought several women from Nador into parliament, including Latifa Tayebi, Donia Sakli, Malika Haouliche and Sanae Rahmouni.
This broad representation places responsibility on the elected officials to defend the province's development files.
