Construction of Nador Regional Hospital Advances

Construction of the regional hospital centre is continuing in Selouane, in Nador province, more than a year after work began under a project launched by the Health Ministry.
Built on 27,000 square metres, the facility will have 250 beds at a total cost of 360 million dirhams, including 250 million for studies and works and 110 million for equipment.
It will include outpatient consultations, functional testing, a radiology unit with a scanner room, a surgical block with seven operating theatres, a laboratory, a pharmacy, an emergency department, a mother-and-child unit and an oncology centre.
The construction period is set at 30 months, while the fate of the future Al Hassani hospital remains unclear.
