The evenings of the 12th Nador Mediterranean Festival opened before more than 40,000 spectators, in a festive atmosphere coinciding with the 27th anniversary of Throne Day.
Artist Said Oussila, a native of Nador, opened the evening with a selection of his famous Amazigh songs, while Maalem Noufel presented a show titled 'Gnaoua Vision', blending Gnaoua music with traditional and modern styles.
Star Muslim closed the evening with a performance that drew a large audience response.
The evenings continue with Said Bani Chiker, Rachida Talal and Walid Rahmani, and will end on Sunday with Maria and Dounia Batma.
The edition runs from 31 July to 2 August under the slogan 'Nador in encounter with the world'.
