The National Institute of Geophysics announced the recording of an earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale off the coast of Driouch province.
The institute specified that the tremor, which occurred at 3 hours 55 minutes and 22 seconds GMT, had its epicentre at a depth of fifteen kilometres, at latitude 35.427 degrees north and longitude 3.536 degrees west.
Local authorities reported no casualties or material damage following the tremor.
