Al Aaroui municipality recovers millions in corporate taxes

The municipality of Al Aaroui has recovered millions of dirhams in local taxes and fees from major companies based on its territory, after years of payment delays.
Construction firm Al Omrane paid more than 7.5 million dirhams into the municipal treasury for the first time, and significant sums were collected from telecom operators.
The municipality formed a joint committee with Nador's tax office and local authorities to identify more than 20 companies that were paying taxes to the Selouane municipality despite being located in Al Aaroui, and began collecting from them.
The revenue is expected to boost the municipal budget and fund new projects.
