Roundtable in Selouane on the City's Historical Memory

The Selouane cultural association held a roundtable titled "Selouane, a Whisper from Memory", led by Maimoun El Klazi and Mohamed El Ouriachi.
The first speaker covered the city's early history, its key phases, figures and events, with a focus on the Selouane kasbah; the second reviewed its historic monuments and emblematic sites.
An open debate followed on the city's transformations, particularly the decline of sport over the past two decades.
Participants recommended preserving the city's heritage, strengthening ties between local actors and compiling the information into a booklet.
The event closed with a tribute to 14 retired teachers and civil servants.
