Results from the 2024 general census show a marked population increase in Selouane and Nador, even as most Moroccan cities experience slower demographic growth.
Selouane now has 29,628 residents, including 84 foreigners, up from 21,570 in 2014 — a gain of more than 8,000 people in ten years.
Nador rose from 125,951 residents in 2014 to 158,202 in 2024, including 228 foreigners, an increase of 32,251 people.
The figures point to sustained demographic momentum in Nador province over the past decade.
