Physical assault on participant in election activity in Bni Bounsar

The village of Ameqtan in the commune of Bni Bounsar, Al Hoceima province, saw tensions during an election activity after a scuffle between several people as participants in a march passed a local café.
Local sources say a dispute broke out among some of those present as the marchers entered the café, before escalating into a direct confrontation.
One participant was physically assaulted, sparking anger among many attendees.
The incident comes amid the election campaign, which features field activities to engage with citizens.
