The port of Al Hoceima recorded, by the end of August 2026, a 13% drop in landings of coastal and artisanal fishing compared with the same period last year, reaching about 1,526 tonnes against 1,699 tonnes.
Commercial value fell 15% to around 84.67 million dirhams.
Pelagic fish declined 25% and molluscs 16%, while white fish rose 8% and crustaceans 44%.
Nationally, landings increased 6% to more than 723,000 tonnes.
