The provincial office of the National Education Union in Nador accuses the provincial education directorate of arbitrary handling of surplus and shortage files and of administrative confusion last school year.
The union says these failures stem from education policies it calls ineffective and at odds with reform rhetoric: forced reassignments, overcrowded classes, staff shortages, the scrapping of split groups in science subjects, multigrade classes and the cancellation of sports activities.
It demands extended deadlines, a review of the circular and assignment conditions, and a transparent, fair approach, saying it is ready to wage a union fight against any measure that harms education staff rights.
