Kamélia Benali is running in the 23 September 2026 legislative elections at the head of the Constitutional Union's regional women's list in the Eastern region.
A member of the Bousaboun family, well known in Nador province and linked to businessman Ben Aïssa Bousaboun, she brings social and family roots to the ticket.
The party is counting on this female presence to boost its momentum in the province and back the local list led by Abdelkader Akoudad, who relies on his standing in Al Aaroui and ties with notables, farmers and elected officials.
The UC aims to unite its lists to contest the constituency's four seats, with voters deciding on polling day.
