The Al Omrane neighbourhood in Selouane has been without electricity since Friday morning, the day of Eid al-Adha, angering residents.
According to locals, ONEE services reported a transformer fault and promised to repair it, but the situation remained unchanged until the afternoon.
Families fear the Eid meat will spoil because of the prolonged outage.
