Elections for professional journalists at the polling office of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, held on Tuesday 15 September 2026, put Mohamed Said Soussi in the lead with 78 votes, ahead of Amine El Khayari (67 votes) and Yasser El Makhtoum (48 votes).
Of 213 registered voters, 123 cast ballots and 90 abstained, a turnout of 57.7 percent.
A total of 114 ballots were counted as valid and nine were voided, with none contested.
Hanane Rahab and Abdellah El Bakkali came fourth with 36 votes each, followed by Abdelhak El Adimi (34) and El Kabir Khachichane (30).
