The Selouane Mall shopping centre has been officially launched after years of waiting.
The opening ceremony brought together commune presidents, parliamentarians, investors from the diaspora and the region, as well as the mayor of Selouane, council members and shopkeepers who have begun opening their premises.
The project is expected to give a new economic boost to retail for residents of Selouane and Nador province, and to create jobs for the local population.
