Nicknamed "Moussa Falkoun", one of the main suspects in organised crime, was referred to the king's prosecutor general at the Nador Court of Appeal, after being transferred by the National Judicial Police Brigade.
Investigations revealed that he faces 51 cases related to hard drug trafficking, settling scores with firearms and human trafficking.
The prosecution ordered his pre-trial detention in Nador's local prison pending the completion of the investigation.
He had been arrested in an operation in Salé after a period on the run.
