Royal gifts to zaouïas in El Jadida, Sidi Bennour, Essaouira and Al Hoceima

On the 28th anniversary of King Hassan II's death, royal commissions handed out royal gifts on Monday to several zaouïas and their notables in various provinces.
In El Jadida and Sidi Bennour, a commission led by Saad Eddine Smij delivered gifts to the mausoleums of Moulay Abdellah Amghar and Moulay Bouchaib Rdad and to the zaouïa of Sidi Abdelaziz Ben Yefou.
In Essaouira, a gift was given to the chorfa of the Rkarkia zaouïa during a ceremony at its headquarters in the medina.
In Al Hoceima, a commission gave a gift to the chorfa of the Alaouia Darqaouia Chadhilia zaouïa.
The ceremonies included Quran recitations, praises to the Prophet, and prayers for King Mohammed VI and the crown prince.
