Al Hoceima gendarmerie arrests suspect in wife's murder after month-long flight

Elements of the Royal Gendarmerie in the province of Al Hoceima managed to arrest a person who was the subject of a national search warrant, suspected of involvement in the murder of his wife in the city of El Brouj, in the province of Settat.
The arrest took place during a control operation in the city of Targuist, where he was identified and transferred to the gendarmerie post.
The crime had occurred about a month earlier, when the suspect attacked his wife with a bladed weapon, causing her death later in the hospital, and also wounded his brother-in-law and son before fleeing.
After his arrest, he was handed over to the security services in charge of the investigation in El Brouj.
This operation is part of security efforts to pursue persons wanted by justice and reflects cooperation between the various security services of the Kingdom.
