The new provincial hospital center in Driouch has been inaugurated as part of efforts to strengthen health services in the Oriental region and overhaul the health system to support social protection.
Built on 17,850 square meters with a total budget of 238 million dirhams, it has 150 beds, in partnership between the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, the Oriental regional council and the Driouch provincial council.
It is set to serve a population of around 200,000 and includes reception, emergency, surgery, internal medicine, mother-and-child, hemodialysis and rehabilitation units, along with modern biomedical equipment and medical, paramedical and administrative staff.
