The provincial sports delegation in Driouch has announced the launch of several sports and social projects for the province's youth, along with the creation of a new headquarters for the directorate.
Some 20 million dirhams are earmarked for a multi-sports hall and 24 million for an indoor swimming pool in the urban commune of Driouch.
In addition, 4.5 million dirhams will fund four neighbourhood pitches with artificial turf, two in Driouch and two in the communes of Ifrani and Tafersit.
Tafersit will also gain a youth centre for 4.2 million dirhams, and Midar a women's club on the same budget.
A new headquarters for the provincial youth and sports directorate will be built for 3 million dirhams.
