Consumer price index in Al Hoceima falls 1.3% in June

The consumer price index in Al Hoceima fell 1.3% in June compared with the previous month, and 0.6% year on year, according to a note from the regional directorate of the High Commission for Planning.
The food products index dropped 2.2% month on month, driven by an 11.6% fall in vegetable prices, 2.3% for fruit and 2.2% for fish and seafood.
The non-food products index also declined 0.2% month on month, driven by lower transport prices.
Year on year, the food products index fell 3.2%, while the non-food index rose 3.1%.
