Preparations have begun in Nador province for the twelfth edition of the collective wedding social initiative.
The local scientific council hosted a broad organisational meeting called by its president, Mimoun Bressoul, to set out the event's supervisory and organisational plan.
Female religious guides, preachers and Quran teachers took part alongside council members to discuss ways of pooling efforts between religious and social actors.
Talks focused on educational and awareness programmes that reinforce values of affection, mercy and responsibility within the family and society.
The meeting ended by stressing the importance of broad mobilisation and close coordination to ensure the success of this social event.
