The National Coordination for the Defence of Morocco's Causes, led by Yahya Yahya, has announced plans for peaceful mobilisations in Nador.
It protests against what it calls Spanish attempts to negatively influence bilateral relations.
The coordination initially postponed any action until after the legislative elections, before revising its stance following statements by Spanish officials confirming a visit by King Felipe VI to Ceuta and Melilla.
Two members were tasked with an inspection visit near Melilla, the Beni Ansar crossing, the area around the Spanish consulate in Nador and the Barrio Chino and Farhana crossings.
Outside the consulate, Yahya Yahya said in Spanish that Moroccans are ready to defend their territorial integrity.
