All eyes are on the Al Hoceima constituency as the legislative elections scheduled for September 23 approach, where the competition sees the return of prominent political figures and the emergence of new faces.
After the cancellation of the election of the four deputies in 2021 by the Constitutional Court, the political landscape has been reorganized.
Mohamed El Araj stands out as the candidate of the Popular Movement, while the Istiqlal Party has chosen Mohamed El Hamoudani as its head of list, replacing Noureddine Moudian.
Karim Boutahiri is also running for the National Rally of Independents, and Mohamed Boudera for the Party of Progress and Socialism.
Forecasts indicate an open race with multiple scenarios, where past political capital alone will not be enough to guarantee victory.
