Family visits suspended at Selouane prison

The General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration decided to temporarily suspend family visits for inmates, including at Selouane prison near Nador, from 19 July 2021 until further notice, due to the marked rise in coronavirus infections and the spread of more dangerous variants.
The aim is to protect the health of inmates, staff and visitors.
For Aid al-Adha, the entry of food baskets without a visit was exceptionally allowed, from the second day of the holiday for one week, according to a schedule set by each facility and in line with preventive measures.
