Employees of the APAAP union in Al Hoceima renewed their demand to be integrated into the civil service during a broad meeting held on Sunday evening at the headquarters of the Moroccan Labour Union in the city, attended by several members.
The gathering focused on the general situation of these workers and ways to change it, according to a union statement.
Speakers stressed the need to integrate these employees into the civil service through the available legal channels, citing promises the union says provincial authorities made over several years.
Participants underlined the importance of union action within the local union federation of Al Hoceima and of continuing advocacy with the relevant authorities, first and foremost the provincial governor.
At the end of the meeting, the union reaffirmed its commitment to the demand and called for continued mobilisation.
